PROCUREMENT NOTICE NO. 1 FOR OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING - FINANCIAL YEAR 2020-21.
Busia District Local Government receives funds from the central government releases and donors. It intends to apply part of these funds towards the cost of projects to be procured during the financial year 2020-2021. Busia District Local Government therefore invites sealed bids from eligible competent firms under open domestic bidding for the works, services and supplies listed below;
Display date; Thursday, 6th August, 2020 and shall expire on Thursday, 27th August, 2020.
General information
The bids for the above procurements will be evaluated in accordance with the Local Government Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act 2003. Details of other requirements to accompany bids shall be contained in the solicitation documents.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Busia District Local Government and peruse through procurement documents at the Procurement and Disposal Unit from
8:00am - 5:00pm.
The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of non-refundable fee as indicated above. The method of payment will be to Busia District General Fund Collection Account *9030009304621* in Stanbic Bank, Busia Branch and be issued a receipt by the District Cashier and there after present it to Procurement and disposal unit Office before the document can be issued. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery of bid document
Interested bidders may submit sealed bids to Busia District Local Government in Duplicate (1 Original and 1 copy) and clearly marked Disposal of “Item description, the Lot No. and Procurement Reference No.” to Procurement and Disposal Unit in properly sealed outer envelope and addressed to:

The closing date for submissions of bids is, Thursday, 27th August, 2020 at 11.00 am, thereafter bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to attend on the same day Thursday, 27th August, 2020, at 11.30 am, at the District, in Chango Macho (council hall) – Justice Ogoola Road.
