BUSIA DISTRICT LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL PASSES BUDGET ESTIMATES FOR 2023/2024 FINANCIAL YEAR

Busia District Local Government Council has today, 30th May 2023, passed a budget estimate of 41,381,631,000 for the upcoming 2023/24 Financial year.

The budget was approved in a council session presided over by Malowa Charles Kudedi the District speaker. 

The District Council in the same sitting approved one member to the District Land board to fully constitute the board and four new members of the Masafu Hospital board;

- Orengo Mangeni (Member)
- Nabwire Zainabu (Member)
- Oradi Patrick (Member)
The members of Council while discussing the budget estimates expressed hopes of having the District budged financed especially as the district strives to improve service delivery for promotion of socio economic development.
