BUSIME SUB COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDING COMMISSIONED AMIDST ULULATIONS AND EXCITEMENT

On the 22nd March 2024, Busime headquarters were filled with ululations and excitement as the Administration block was commissioned. The RDC, Kibwika Michael commissioned the block at a colourful ceremony organised by Busime Sub County Administration .

It should be recognised that Busime was curved from Lunyo Sub County in 2010 in order to extend services closer to people and for all this time the Administration operated in rentals. The Sub   County chief,Nasinyama Peter expressed how the sub county has now been relieved of payment of rent that has been takin part of the money that would be spent on other developments.
The function was attended by District staff, Busime Sub County staff,Members of District Council,RDC, Members of Elders Forum, NRM leaders, SASs and Staff from neighbouring Sub Counties Area MP, Godfrey Odero and community members of Busime.
The block was constructed in phases at a cost of 175 million shillings under a co funding arrangement where the Sub County contributed 106 Million shillings while the sub County contributed 69 million shillings.
While delivering CAO's message the principal Assistant Secretary (PAS) encouraged the Sub County leadership to secure more land around the Sub County quarters for future expansion before land prices appreciate in the area.
The RDC, called upon the sub county leadership to put the facility into the right use and protect it against abuse.He highlighted challenges of service delivery linking them to inadequate staff and equipment and appealed to the district leadership to work within their means to fix those they can handle at their level. He asked the community members to embrace government programmes and improve lives. 
 The Administration block comes at a time when Busime Sub County has just had a new Construction at the Health Centre to suit the Health Centre III following its Upgrade.
