BUSIA LAUNCHES DISBURSEMENT OF PDM REVOLVING FUND

On the 4Th April 2023, Busia Launched the long awaited disbursement of PDM funds to individual accounts.It was colourful function,as the RDC disbursement of PDM funds to individual accounts.
The function started from Centenary Bank where the RDC, Kibwika Michael credited the account of Beatrice Nafula and then proceeded to Masafu town council.

Beatrice Nafula is a poultry farmer who has been raring chicken for subsistence hailing form Masafu Town Council in Mira village. She is the first beneficiary and intended to use the one million shillings she received to boost her poultry farm.

The function was a well attended function by Hon Nekesa MP UPDF,RDC and DRDC,DISO,DEC,Council,CAO and all staff, Chairpersons LC111,PDC,PDM SACCO Chairpersons and the Bankers.
Message from all the speakers emphasized mindset change, responsibility, sustainability of the program, monitoring and support supervision in order to realize the set goal of the government.

The details of the PDM program as unveillled by the CAO, Mr. Mukiibi Nasser indicated;

Households:27,822
Total amount of money on accounts:1,964,200,000.

All the beneficiaries were to be uploaded on the PDMIS for payment and the money will go direct accounts of the individuals.
